Staff was very friendly excellent customer service but the tv didn't work at all and the light in the bathroom did not work. But the room was spacious and very affordable.
This place is an absolute dump. I would not force my worst enemy to stay here. To start the hotel, waffle house and strip club use the same entrance. The place smelled horrible when we walked into the lobby. The clerk was too busy taking personal phone calls on two different phone to get us checked in. There is no elevator on the entire property. The TV only received two channels and there is no wyfi access. the air conditioner in the room barely worked and the hall ways remind you of what hell could be like. Bottom line tear this dump down and start over.
Too Many Cock Roaches. There was a lot of cock roaches in the Bathroom area , and is usually an indication that the rooms are not cleaned very well or never sprayed for bugs . I did not report this issue to the front desk because it was so late when I got back to the room .
I only stayed there one night and it was OK. The coffee pot was very dusty and the air conditioner unit was dripping water on the carpet.
Great value for the price I paid. Convenient location, and out of the way of the chaos of Downtown. I only wish they had a fitness room!
I knew it wasn't going to be a great stay when I saw there was a strip club on the other side of the parking lot. The lobby needs a lot of work. The ceiling is missing tiles, and the counter looks like its made out of plywood that was reclaimed from a poorly made cornhole set. The counter was filthy, as was the carpet. The staff were friendly enough especially when they explained that the key machine was broken and so they could not provide me with a key to my room. Instead they had a short swarthy gentleman who was wearing a denim jacket, sported at least 5 large gold rings, and probably last cut his hair during the Carter administration, let me into my room. I stayed for 3 nights, and any time I left my room I had to go find that same fellow to get let back in to my own room. The room itself was a disaster. I asked about internet, and was told that the building was "out of it." As I am unaware of how a building runs out of a supply of internet, I can only assume that it was not working. The deadbolt on my room did not work, the recently replaced door frame was made from wood and was cracked from what appeared to be a forced entry. The chain worked, but the screw that anchored it to the door frame was almost completely out. Essentially, my door would have yielded to a relatively hard kick. The room had one sink outside the bathroom which didn't work and it seemed awkwardly placed (perhaps it was once needed for a kidney removal). The bathroom itself left a bit to be desired. The tub was cracked in several places, the paint was peeling, and the counter was cracked. The sink produced brown water. It did however give a worthy home to several cockroaches, so at least someone was comfortable. The room was not much an improvement from the bathroom. The TV was old, not really a big deal, but it didn't receive any channels clearly, so it was useless as well. The phone had been stripped of all of its buttons. This was not that much of a problem, as the brown sticky substance on the phone guaranteed that I would not have used it had they been present. The industrial sized air conditioner worked well, although the front of it was falling off so it was incredibly loud. This turned out to be a bit of a blessing as it drowned out the I-75 on-ramp that was 10 yard from my window. During my entire stay no one ever cleaned my room. I know this place is probably a franchise, but it is hurting the Days Inn brand. It should be fixed or lose its license to the brand name.
Staff-very good. Room-clean but dank moldy odor had me gone! I am non-confrontational so I just left.
